Forestry Rules
Logging Rules
- π₯ Full-time forestry is limited to forestry and select hybrid maps.
- π§ Any map that does not qualify as forestry/hybrid may only log during winter months.
- π₯ You may not plant trees on any parcel that is not labeled a βForestβ parcel.
- π§ When you sell logging land you MUST replant trees before you sell.
- π§ Mulchers and stump grinders are for stumps only.
- π§ Cut and load enough trees for one trip. Clear stumps frequently.
- π¨ Use a truck and/or trailer when transporting logs.

Logging Permits and Forest Parcels
To purchase land defined as logging or forestry land, you must be a Farm Manager on an eligible map and purchase a logging permit ($750k). There is no limit of permits on servers, but only 2 harvesters (machine or chainsaw) can be active at any time per server. Logging parcels are included with the daily land draws.
Permit Rules
- π§ All standard Forestry rules apply.
- π₯ All forests must be fully replanted at the end of any lease or prior to a land sale.
- π§ You may only plant trees on defined forestry parcels that you own.
- π¨ Only those in possession of a logging permit are eligible to place and own a sawmill.
- π§ Productions on forest parcels are limited to Sawmills and Carpenters.
- π§ Plowing of new fields is not allowed on forests.
- π¨ Logging permits can only be held on hybrid or dedicated logging maps.
- π§ Planted trees must be at least 10 meters apart.
- π§ Permits are assigned to Farm Managers.
Converting logging land into farm land
You may convert logging land to a regular parcel via a multi-step process including a request via ticket and a $250,000 fee.
